Our one goal is based on two principles, built on three foundations, and held up by four pillars.

The One Goal

The reason we engage in the activities at JH CrossFit revolves around a singular goal, which is to "impact someone's life so much that their life changes for the better." This goal serves as our focal point and motivation. It is an ongoing and perpetual goal, never reaching completion. Our dedication is aimed at assisting others in achieving greater accomplishments than they ever thought possible. We wholeheartedly invest ourselves, hoping that individuals' lives will be significantly enhanced due to their decision to step into our facility. This dedication is why we rise early, stay longer, and put in extra effort beyond what is required. At JH CrossFit, we put the One Goal at the forefront of all our actions and words.

The Two Principles

SACRIFICE

Sacrifice signifies love. Love cannot exist without sacrifice, and sacrifice cannot exist without love. True sacrifice isn't easy, glamorous, or noticeable. Authentic sacrifice involves placing another person's well-being above our own.

SELFLESSNESS

Selflessness entails prioritizing the gym's and our members' welfare over our personal interests. Selflessness extends beyond oneself. It involves fulfilling obligations without seeking recognition or personal gain. Selflessness embodies commitment—commitment to go the extra mile, endure a bit longer, and work a bit harder, all with the aim of making someone better today than they were yesterday. At JH CrossFit, we embrace selfless sacrifice with the intent of achieving the One Goal.

The Three Foundations

VIRTUOSITY

Virtuosity means performing ordinary tasks exceptionally well. While many people engage in commonplace and mundane activities throughout their lives, only a few excel in performing them. At JH CrossFit, we are among those few who execute everyday and unremarkable tasks with remarkable precision. When individuals notice our dedication to performing these tasks well, they develop trust in our commitment to treating them well.

CONSISTENCY

Consistent actions yield consistent outcomes. Consistency is the cornerstone at JH CrossFit for building trust. Trust is of utmost importance as it empowers coaches to instruct freely and allows members to feel at ease. People gravitate towards environments where they feel comfortable among individuals they trust, individuals who exhibit consistent behavior. What we do every day holds more significance than sporadic efforts.

COMMUNITY

Community embodies connection. A thriving community offers individuals a space to flourish and succeed. At JH CrossFit, we foster an environment where thriving becomes habitual. We encourage social interaction among diverse individuals—young and old, male and female, athletic and non-athletic. We offer top-tier programming, pristine facilities, upscale amenities, and knowledgeable coaching. We organize events, host celebrations, and rejoice together. Our commitment goes beyond the ordinary to ensure the holistic needs of the community are met, fostering positive connections. The community mirrors the essence of JH CrossFit, both internally and externally. A fragmented community signifies broken leadership from top to bottom.

PROFESSIONALISM

Professionalism embodies our work ethic. Our members serve as our representatives, reflecting to their spheres of influence the respect and integrity with which we treat them. Bearing this in mind, we treat each individual with the highest respect and integrity. We operate at a level of excellence exceeding the basics. We complete tasks punctually, ensuring the utmost quality, and take pride in our endeavors.

RELATIONSHIPS

Our mission to transform lives is only feasible through affectionate relationships. Simply, love and be loved is what guides us. Therefore, we provide a nurturing environment that fosters self-worth, enabling individuals to find their place. Words carry more weight when spoken by those who love us. People possess discernment and can see through insincerity, disengaging when they detect it. Building relationships through love is paramount to effecting change and being heard.

SUPPORT

A support system is vital for cultivating a robust community. Numerous actions can demonstrate support, but we've identified four crucial aspects that we, at JH CrossFit, should possess:

  • Maintain awareness: When a member confides in us due to the trust we've built, it's essential to remember their situation, especially when they walk through our doors. This awareness should guide our interactions and words. Sensitivity and contextual understanding are key, and adjustments might be necessary based on the day's circumstances.

  • Follow-through: Keeping promises and regular check-ins are crucial. If a member goes silent for a while, especially during challenging times, it may be our responsibility to initiate contact. Taking accountability for maintaining communication is essential.

  • Ask questions: Recognizing that discussing needs and feelings might be difficult for the members we're supporting, asking questions can break the ice and encourage deeper sharing.

  • Honesty and accountability: Open and honest communication with the person we're supporting, the community, and ourselves is vital. Making false promises erodes trust, weakens bonds, and undermines the One Goal.

SAFETY

If we cause preventable injuries, we betray the trust placed in us. If everyone gets injured under our supervision, our doors will remain empty. Without members, there is no business, and without a business, JH CrossFit ceases to exist. We must prevent this outcome at all costs. People won't engage in activities that jeopardize their well-being. Our role is to guide members toward a better life that endures, not just a fleeting phase. We envision members walking and functioning well into their later years, free from dependence. Vigilance, informed correction, and impassioned coaching are our tools. We create an environment where individuals feel secure, enhancing their well-being for a lifetime.
